Eligibility:
There is only one category for this film festival.
The short film must be a Film Narrative that is equal to or under 20 minutes. (The definition of a Film Narrative can be found here).
FILM Festival Rules and Terms
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Entries for The Film Festival can be submitted between Tuesday, February 15th 2017 at 12:00:01 a.m. PST and Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:59:59 p.m. PST.
ELIGIBILITY: The contest is only open to students of Alhambra High School that are currently attending that school. Entries received after the deadline set forth in these terms are ineligible.
HOW TO ENTER: Create a film of twenty (20) minutes or less in length. Visit the "Submit" tab on www.ahsfilmfest.weebly.com and follow the instructions to complete the entry form (Google document) to submit your Film.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: To submit your Film you will be required to provide your first and last name; grade level; email address; and Film URL. The information you provide will be used only for contest administration.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
Winners will be selected before the day of The Film Festival.
Winners will be chosen by The Film Festival's set group of judges.
Winners will be announced live on the night of The Film Festival on May 6th 2016.
RULES FOR ENTRY:
Entries may not contain, as determined by Alhambra High School, any content that goes against the following:
TERMS FOR WINNERS: Winners keep their trophy and earn a title of "Best..." of Alhambra. Congratulations.

- All music and other copyrighted material used in the films must be properly credited in the credits of the film.
- All films must be in English or subtitled in English.

- An Entry must be school appropriate. The Entry must stick to a PG-13 basis.
- Each Entrant can only submit one Film. This means that when completing a form, the name that one registers under is only able to submit one Film.

- Best Screenwriting
- Best Cinematography
- People Choice for Best Short Film
